During the Edo period, People enjoyed
not only the cherry-blossoms in the spring,
but went out to view flowers in bloom -
apricot blossoms, peonies, wisterias,
chrysanthemums and of couse,
the burning-red maples in autumn
- thoughout the year using a hanagoyomi,
or a flower calender, as thir guide.
Ordinary people had fun composing poems, haiku etc. They love intellectual plays so much.

Incidentally, it has been almost one hundred years
since Haiku became known to the world.
Presently there are millions of Haiku lovers.
However, unlike drawings and paintings,
Haiku cannot be expressed visually, t
hus not may people know how widely it is enjoyed.
Even if you make a Haiku poem, unless it is published,
you won't have a chance to share it with the others.
From now on,
Fudegraphy can contribute to its promotion.
It can help you make your everyday cards,
use word art of Fudegraphy when creating Haiku,
and put them on the walls or make them nice gifts, etc. With your original art
you will enjoy great pleasure of making them visual -
and your life would be more fulfilling!
